I remember visiting with Scot at White Bear beach and took a double take to recognise him with his shoulder length blond hair. He was the first surfer I met in person! Earlier that spring I had visited his house to see the 1964 Chev Impala SS red convertable with four speed. Why I recall this visit is he mentioned he would remove the body trim to wax the car. We're talking away when his mother came out to the garage and walked by the car and caught her blouse on the trim and RIP... He said, looks like I did not replace it securely!
