Randy was from Galesburg, Illinois. I knew the family very well....his sister Mary, father Homer, mother Elinore and close friends David and Claudia Mauer from Fargo. Randy grew up in Birchwood and graduated from UW LaCrosse with a business degree. He worked as an insurance claims adjuster. I got to know Randy through DeMolay, the Charles A. Wise chapter in WBLK. Randy was the father of two children. I recall our most favorite thing to do together was checking out the new car models in the fall, on University Ave and Hwy 61. Randy loved the big cars, the old Buick Electra 225 was his favorite. Randy had an extremely quick wit and was a quick study when it came to politics, sports and business. R.I.P. BIG GUY.
