I recall Lyle's house near the railroad tracks where Bald Eagle Ave and 61 angled together, though gone now I believe the building once was owned by the railroad.  We were friends in school and I will miss not seeing him at the reunion.  He will be remembered, yes he will.

Gosh Lyle and I had some good times!  I'll never forget one night while I was at the U and living on 7 corners and had Lyle over.  G&T, some funny smoke, and Lyle with pen and ink.  When I got up in the morning the entire wall was a mural, and Lyle just finishing it up.  He loved to do art work.  I introduced him to his wife Judy, and a great couple they made.  I'm really, really sorry I won't be able to see him at the reunion.  But my old friend will never be forgotten.

From the Mounds View High School Calss of 1964

This past February, Lyle was instrumental in helping the Mounds View Class of 1964 set

up their website, as he did yours.  He gave us 100% support and mentored us through the

entire project, sending us emails of support along the way.  We were tenuous getting started,

to say the least, and I don't know if we would have continued without Lyle's enthusiastic

support.  He truly was a "people connector" that extended beyond White Bear High School.

What a gift he gave us.  Thank you, Lyle!!!!
