Philip and I were classmates at St, Mary's.  We graduated in 1960.  There were many timrs in my life when I considered Philip to be my best friend.  We played baseball together.  We played hockey together.  We went to dances at the old White Bear High together.  When he told me during our senior year at St. Mary's that he was going to go to Hill High School I was disappointed.  I thought we would spend our high school years together.  It was at Philip's house in about 4th or 5th grade that I met Brad Stanius.  He was Philip's next door neighbor.  Over the years I lost touch with Philip, only seeing him about once or twice a year.  My thoughts go to Molly and the family.  This is another reason why we should continually try to stay in contact with our childhood friends.
